City Island Rocks, Ltd. is an IRS 501(c) 3 charity, and registered with the NYS Charities. We are a startup, having launched last July 2023.  

Our primary goals for City Island Rocks, Ltd. include: 

• To organize and promote live music & other entertainment events in NYC public parks, for the local communities, at no cost to the community; 
• To hire & compensate musicians, and other artists, fairly for their services; 
• To create live music and other special events for fundraising purposes, to help pay artists involved and towards the non-profit operation costs. 
• We are also looking to showcase upcoming young musicians and other artists, and to provide mentoring for young artists.  With possibly involving the local school to provide music instruction, and to create eventually promote a Young People’s Concert series.
• We are looking to feature ZEPHYR'S POND, A Family Musical, with original compositions, with Book & Music by Frank L. Pisani.  Lyrics by Frank L. Pisani & Nina Murano
